Budgeting

Each Vortex Splashpad® is designed specifically for your community or project, so costs will vary. The major factors of a Splashpad® are the water play products chosen, the water management system, and installation. Other components include concrete, surfacing, infrastructure, and other amenities such as benches, restrooms, or parking. Learn more. Your community or organization may be eligible to purchase your Splashpad® through a co-operative purchasing program such as BuyBoard or NPPGov.

From Vortex’s standpoint, the costs of a new Splashpad® would be design services (usually included), the aquatic play products themselves, and the selected water management system. Learn more about other costs here.

Once a new Splashpad® is installed, your facility will need to budget for opening and closing the splash pad on a seasonal basis, maintenance labor, energy, water, monitoring, and administration. Learn more.

Vortex does not offering financing. However, your community can investigate a variety of funding opportunities including grants and fundraising. You may be eligible to work with a co-operative purchasing program for the most competitive pricing.
