With competition increasing every day in the busy city of Regina, Saskatchewan, General Manager of the Travelodge Hotel Ryan Urzada was determined to upgrade his pool area. His goal was to find a unique and creative solution to set Travelodge apart from its competitors. Alas, Soaked! was born. A waterpark featuring waterslides, swimming pool, spray pad and Vortex’s iconic Watermark feature. The Watermark was the first of its kind in Canada. The structure is regularly used to welcome guests, entertain children, promote events, and also provides a stunning backdrop that can be used all day due to its minimal use of water.
« I had been told what it could do, but I had a hard time believing it. It was only after I learned more about Vortex’s reputation and saw it for myself that I was sold on this high-tech piece of equipment and had to have it for Soaked! »
« Every child wants a picture with the Watermark when they see their name pop up. It really looks like magic. The Watermark is interactive and fun and most of all, it adds that personal touch that truly creates a sense of wonder and excitement. We couldn't be happier with it, and neither could our guests. »
